Maximilian Riedmüller (born January 4, 1988 in Munich ) is a German soccer goalkeeper .

Career

In his youth, Riedmüller played for the Munich district clubs FV Hansa Neuhausen and TSV Forstenried . In the 2007/08 season he guarded the goal of the Bayern league club SV Heimstetten 26 times .

FC Bayern Munich

For the 2008/09 season Riedmüller moved to the second team of FC Bayern Munich , for which he played his first game in a professional league on March 1, 2009 in a 2-0 victory at FC Carl Zeiss Jena , substituting for the injured Thomas Kraft . After playing 20 third division games in the 2010/11 season , he received a professional contract with Bayern for the 2011/12 season . From 2011 he was part of the squad of the second team in the Regionalliga Süd and was the third goalkeeper behind Manuel Neuer and Tom Starke for the professional team. In the 2-2 draw on August 8, 2011 (1st matchday) in the away game against 1. FC Nürnberg II , he played for the first time in the regional league ; he led the team as captain on the field and parried a penalty shot by Wilson Kamavuaka . In the 2012/13 season , Riedmüller was pushed out of the second team's goal by Lukas Raeder and Leopold Zingerle , he only played two games this season. This season he was still part of the triple winner's squad as a substitute goalkeeper , but did not appear in any of the three competitions for the first team under coach Jupp Heynckes .

Holstein Kiel

For the 2013/14 season Riedmüller moved to the third division Holstein Kiel , where he signed a contract valid until June 30, 2015. He made his debut on July 20, 2013 (1st matchday) in a goalless draw in the away game against Hansa Rostock under coach Karsten Neitzel . At first he was the regular goalkeeper of the Storks, but was ousted by Niklas Jakusch after an injury . In January 2015, he was informed that he was no longer part of the first team and should terminate his contract. Otherwise he will be released from February 1st. In the summer he left the club on a free transfer. After a trial session with the then regional league team Jahn Regensburg , the contract was not signed. In the Palatinate Opera, only the status of number 2 was intended for him. But there were no other offers, Riedmüller kept fit in the VDV camp for clubless contract footballers.

Return to SV Heimstetten

On July 1, 2016, he switched to his former club SV Heimstetten in the Bavarian League and began training as a physiotherapist.
