Wilson Kamavuaka (born March 29, 1990 in Düren ) is a German - Congolese football player . He is mainly used in defensive midfield.
Career
society
In 1999, Kamavuaka started playing soccer in the E-Jugend of Sportfreunde Düren . In 2002 he moved to the youth team at 1. FC Köln and in 2007 to the A youth team at Alemannia Aachen . For the 2009/10 season he moved to the second team of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim , which was playing in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg at that time . After a season in the league, a promotion and another season for Hoffenheim in the Regionalliga Süd , 1. FC Nürnberg Kamavuaka signed for its reserve team during the 2011 summer break. On October 1, 2011 he made his Bundesliga debut in a home game against 1. FSV Mainz 05 .
For the 2012/13 season he was loaned to the second division promoted Jahn Regensburg without a purchase option . Kamavuaka was used in 28 games and scored his only second division goal on matchday 25 in a 3-2 defeat at FC St. Pauli , but he could not prevent Regensburg's direct relegation to the third division. After one season Kamavuaka left Regensburg again and switched to KV Mechelen in Belgium . In Belgium, Kamavuaka made a dream debut with two goals in his first game. On February 1, 2015, he signed a contract with SK Sturm Graz in the Austrian Bundesliga.
After the 2015/16 season he left SK Sturm Graz. In September 2016 he moved to Greece to join Panetolikos , where he received a contract valid until June 2018. In January 2017, he moved to Bundesliga club SV Darmstadt 98 , where he signed a contract that was valid until June 2018. On the second matchday of the 2017/18 season , Kamavuaka scored his first goal for Darmstadt 98 to equalize 1-1 in the away game in Kaiserslautern . At the beginning of September 2019, the club and the player, who was already rarely used in the 2018/19 season, agreed to terminate the contract.
National team
On May 22, 2010, Kamavuaka made his debut in Innsbruck , Austria for the senior team of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in a friendly against Saudi Arabia .

He has two older sisters and one older brother. He has obtained the technical college entrance qualification. He is also the second cousin of Richard Sukuta-Pasu , who is also a professional footballer.
