Danny Rogers (born March 23, 1994 in New York City ) is an Irish football goalkeeper who is under contract with FC Kilmarnock . In addition to Irish, he is also a US citizen .

Career

Danny Rogers was born in New York City in 1994 to an American and an Irishwoman and grew up in Ireland . In July 2011 Rogers moved to Scotland in the youth team of Aberdeen FC . After he had occasionally to December 2013 stood in the senior squad, but only in the Youth Academy of the Dons had been used, Rogers was one month to the second division Airdrieonians FC awarded. In the 2014/15 season he was awarded to FC Dumbarton . In the two-time Scottish champions he was active as a regular goalkeeper. In the 2015/16 season , the 21-year-old Rogers also played as a regular goalkeeper at the second division club FC Falkirk . In the following 2016/17 season , Rogers was awarded a second time to FC Falkirk. Then to the first division promoted FC St. Mirren . It was awarded again in August 2019. After the sixth loan station he left Aberdeen in June 2020. A month later he signed a contract with FC Kilmarnock until 2021 .

National team

In September 2014, Rogers made his Irish U-21 debut against Norway .
