Calum Waters (born March 10, 1996 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with FC Kilmarnock .

Career

Calum Waters was born in the Scottish city of Glasgow . He began his career in the youth of Celtic Glasgow , for which he was active in the Youth Academy until 2014 . He was also the team captain of the club's U-17s for some time . From the 2014/15 season he was a few times in the professional squad, but remained unused. In July 2015, the 19-year-old Waters was loaned out to the Scottish second division club FC Dumbarton for the entire 2015/16 season . In the summer break of 2016, Waters moved to Scottish third division club Alloa Athletic after his contract with Celtic had been terminated . After a season he moved to FC Kilmarnock .

National team

Calum Waters has been playing internationally for the Scottish junior national teams since 2011. He made his U-15 debut in May 2011 against Belgium in Stirling . In 2011 and 2012, Waters was deployed in the U-16 . In 2012 he also played six times in the U-17 . Since August 2014 he has been regularly active in the U-19 .
