After the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 was canceled , the public broadcaster Danmarks Radio (DR) confirmed Denmark's participation in the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest. At the same time, DR confirmed the continuation of the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. The duo Ben & Tan , which won the Danish preliminary round in 2020, will not receive a guaranteed starting place in the field of participants in the preliminary round.
