history
Danube Wings was founded by VIP WINGS in 2008 and has gradually taken on line and charter services.
In January 2013, the cancellation of the seasonal routes within France was announced. In October of the same year Danube Wings announced the immediate cancellation of their last remaining line connection from Bratislava to Košice . From now on only charter flights would be carried out. At the same time, however, it was reported that the company had switched off its contact options.
In December 2013 it was finally reported that operations had been completely shut down.
Destinations
Since the beginning of October 2013, Danube Wings only offered charter flights. Before that, it served a changing network between numerous European cities and holiday destinations. For example, it flew from Bratislava to London , Brussels , Warsaw and Milan as well as Split , Zadar and Rijeka in Croatia . Domestic flights within Slovakia were also offered. In mid-2012, Danube Wings also took over the Cologne - Rimini route from the insolvent airline Wind Jet . Since July 27, 2012, she also operated the Cambridge - Dole route . In addition to Cambridge, Danube Wings also served Girona , Nice and Bastia from Dole .
