The Darmbachaue of Darmstadt is a nature reserve on the eastern edge of the Darmstadt district . The Darmbachaue is part of the FFH area “ Dommerberg , Dachsberg and Darmbachaue” and covers around 66.98 hectares.

The nature reserve is located on the eastern edge of the Darmstadt district and is part of the "Messeler Hügelland". Typical for this nature reserve are the damp to wet forest meadows, the swamp areas, the mixed forest stands and the naturally developed waters. The Darmbachaue is the habitat of many rare and threatened animal and plant species.
