The cheeky girl (original title: L'effrontée; German alternative title: The terrible girl) is a feature film by the French director Claude Miller from 1985. Charlotte Castang is 13 years old and grew up as a working-class child without a mother in the French provinces. Her widowed father works as a plumber and is overwhelmed with raising his daughter, while the housekeeper Léone takes care of the household.
