Dausa ( Hindi : दौसा) is a district in the western Indian state of Rajasthan .
The district was created on April 10, 1991. The area is 3432 km². The administrative seat is the city of the same name, Dausa . A historically and culturally significant place is the village of Abhaneri .

The population of the mostly Hindi- speaking population is 1,637,226 (2011). About 85% of the population are Hindus and about 15% are Muslim . As is customary with Indian censuses, the male population exceeds the female population by around 15%.
