David Hart (born August 9, 1957 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch entrepreneur, racing team owner and racing car driver .

Entrepreneur

David Hart founded DHVG in Schiedam in 1997 , a real estate company that was later renamed the David Hart Group . The company develops and sells large projects in the Netherlands. At the beginning of 2016, a 44,000 square meter logistics center was opened in Schiedam.

The David Hart Group is also an investment company and currently manages a fund of EUR 400 million.

Racing career

David Hart developed a passion for motorsport at a young age. In the 1980s he competed in various one-make cups . He was able to win the Alfa Squadra Bianca Cup three times . In the 2000s he competed in GT and sports car races . For Carsport Holland , the team of his compatriot Toine Hezemans , he finished fifth overall in the 2000 FIA GT Championship .

By the end of his professional career in 2011, Hart had 14 overall victories, with the most victories in the Belgian Racing Car Championship , or Belcar for short . Four times, in 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2007, he finished this championship as runner-up. He achieved overall victories in the Zolder 24-hour race in 2005 and 2006 . He competed four times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans , with the best result in 2000 when he was 13th overall.

David Hart Racing

David Hart owns a large collection of historic racing vehicles that he maintains in the racing stable. With these vehicles he regularly takes part in historical racing events. The collection includes Bizzarrinis , an AC Cobra , a Porsche 962 , a Lola T70 and a Ford GT40 .
