David Wrigley (born June 1, 1980 in Washago , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player ( striker ) who was most recently under contract with EV Landshut .

Career

Wrigley appeared for the first time in the 2000/01 season in the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League (OPJHL) in appearance, in which he stormed for the Couchiching Terriers and brought it to 125 points in 47 games.

Between 2000 and 2005 he played for Mercyhurst College in the NCAA before moving to Muskegon Fury in the United Hockey League during the 2004/05 season, for which he also went on the ice in the 2005/06 season.

In the 2006/07 season his stations in the ECHL were Victoria Salmon Kings and Pensacola Ice Pilots before he ventured to Europe in 2007. In the following season 2007/08 he was initially under contract with EV Landsberg 2000 . When he had to save on the squad for financial reasons, he followed his then coach Larry Mitchell to the Augsburg Panthers in the German Ice Hockey League .

From the 2008/09 season to 2012 Wrigley ran for EHC Munich in the 2nd Bundesliga. In July 2012, he signed a one-year contract with Tohoku Free Blades .

Before the 2013/14 season, Wrigley returned to Germany and was signed by the Bietigheim Steelers from the DEL2 .

In June 2017 Wrigley moved to EV Landshut and played 27 games for them in the 2017/18 season despite several injuries. The EVL then initially wanted to terminate the contract, but decided to keep the player. Due to another injury, Wrigley missed the entire 2018/19 season.
