Dejan Pajić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Дејан Пајић ; born February 24, 1985 in Novi Sad , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK NS Stars in the Serbian ice hockey league since 2012 .

Career

Dejan Pajić began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HK Vojvodina Novi Sad . Apart from two small interruptions in which he was active in North America, he played for HK Vojvodina until 2012, with whom he became Yugoslav champions in 2002 and 2003 and Serbian-Montenegrin champions in 2004. In 2009 he won the Pannonian League with the club . In 2012 he moved to local rivals HK NS Stars , for whom he has been playing in the Serbian ice hockey league since then .

International

For Yugoslavia Pajić took part in the competitions of the U18 World Championships in 2000 in European Division 2, 2001 and 2002 in Division III. With the Serbian-Montenegrin offspring, he played at the U18 World Championships in 2003 and the U20 World Championships, U20 World Championships in 2003 and 2005, each in Division II.

In the men's area, Pajić played with the Serbian-Montenegrin team at the World Cup of Division II in 2005 and in qualifying for the qualification for the Olympic Winter Games in Turin in 2006 . After the breakaway of Montenegro, he took part in the 2007 , 2008 and 2009 World Championships with the now all- Serbian team , also in Division II. He also took part in the qualifying tournament for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver for Serbia .
