The Saulgau deanery is one of 25 deaneries in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart and consists of 30 parishes, 4 pastoral care units and 35,369 Catholics.

geography

The area of ​​the deanery encloses the southern part of the former Altkreis Saulgau : Bad Saulgau , Altshausen , Königseggwald , Herbertingen , Hohentengen , Hundersingen , Mengen and Scheer . Today the deanery extends over the eastern part of the Sigmaringen district and parts of the Ravensburg district . The Saulgau deanery borders the Biberach deanery in the east and the archdiocese of Freiburg in the west .
