The Allgäu-Oberschwaben deanery is one of 25 deaneries in the Rottenburg-Stuttgart diocese . It is territorially congruent with the district of Ravensburg . The Dean's office is located in Weingarten. Decanting offices are in Weingarten and Wangen. The administrative center of the deanery is located in Kißlegg.

As of January 1, 2008, the deaneries of Leutkirch, Ravensburg, Waldsee and Wangen were merged to form the deanery Allgäu-Oberschwaben, which was divided into the three districts of Allgäu, Ravensburg and Waldsee.
