The Freudenstadt dean's office is one of 25 dean's offices in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart . The seat is in Horb am Neckar .

structure

The deanery was founded in 1976 from the former deaneries of Horb and Freudenstadt and is now roughly the same as the district of Freudenstadt . The dean's office is managed by the dean's council , which consists of representatives from all parishes and various associations as well as the dean, his deputy and the accounting officer. There is also an executive committee that represents the dean's council and takes on the ongoing tasks. Since the Horber part of the deanery belonged to Upper Austria until 1805 , in contrast to the Freudenstadt part, it is Catholic.
