The Freudenstadt dean's office is one of 25 dean's offices in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart . The seat is in Horb am Neckar .
structure
The deanery was founded in 1976 from the former deaneries of Horb and Freudenstadt and is now roughly the same as the district of Freudenstadt . The dean's office is managed by the dean's council , which consists of representatives from all parishes and various associations as well as the dean, his deputy and the accounting officer. There is also an executive committee that represents the dean's council and takes on the ongoing tasks. Since the Horber part of the deanery belonged to Upper Austria until 1805 , in contrast to the Freudenstadt part, it is Catholic. The Freudenstadt part of the Dean's office belonging to Württemberg is predominantly Protestant.

- Pastoral care unit 4, together with pastoral care unit 7 of the Rottenburg dean's office with the parishes of Ergenzingen and Baisingen, forms a pastoral care unit across the dean's office with the parish in Ergenzingen.
Facilities
In the area of the Freudenstadt dean's office, there is, among other things, a BDKJ youth department , the Catholic adult education district Freudenstadt e. V. and a Caritas center , all based in Horb. In addition, the regional association of Catholic day-care centers is located in the deanery in Horb.
