The Rottweil deanery is one of 25 deaneries in the Roman Catholic diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart and consists of 12 pastoral care units and 54 parishes. The Dean's office is located in Rottweil in the Rottweil district . It was formed in 2006 as a merger of the old deans of Rottweil and Oberndorf and covers large parts of the area with the Rottweil district.

tasks

As the "middle level" between the diocese and parishes, the dean's office performs three tasks: It supports the parishes of the dean's office in their pastoral mandate, represents the Catholic Church in regional social and cultural issues and communicates the concerns of the bishop.
