Ratzenried is a village in the municipality of Argenbühl in the Ravensburg district in Baden-Württemberg in the Allgäu region of Württemberg .
Location and transport links
Ratzenried is northeast of the city of Wangen i. A. on the L 320 . The A 96 runs to the west, 3 km away . To the northwest, a little further away, which is 110.9 ha large nature reserve Arrisrieder moss . The Untere Argen flows to the west and north .
The former Ratzenried station is a few kilometers west of the village on the Kißlegg – Hergatz railway line .
history
On January 1, 1972, Ratzenried formed the new municipality of Argenbühl together with five other municipalities.
