action

Will Sherman's academic career ends without success. In his spare time he draws comics, but they don't find a buyer. He's also broken up by his girlfriend Claire to be with Barry, a college student. He works as a pizza delivery man to earn a living. The customers are always nagging about the food and not giving tips. Out of frustration, he speaks fantasies of revenge on his dictation machine.

One evening he is supposed to deliver a pizza again. He meets Reed. What Will doesn't know, however, is that Reed is about to kill the real buyer of the pizza. Later, when he was sitting in a bar, the TV news reported a murder. Will recognizes the property and reports to the police. Meanwhile, Reed has decided to kill Will too, as he could be an unwanted witness to his crime. He follows Will on his delivery trips and sneaks into his car armed with a knife. There he finds Will's voice recorder. When the police suddenly turn up and confiscate the car that Reed had previously stolen, he has to flee. Reed listens to Will's notes and is overwhelmed when Will put into words what he was always thinking. He decides to turn Will's fantasies of revenge into reality.

First, he kills Will's old professor who failed him on an exam. Suspicion falls on Will. The police do not believe it was a coincidence, as Will was connected to the two dead. Since the police do not have enough evidence, he is released. The next person Reed kills is Barry. However, the police assume a suicide. Some time later, Reed has Will deliver a pizza and reveals himself to him. Will manages to leave the house under a pretext. He immediately notifies the police, who are busy with an arrest and cannot come to Will immediately. Reed, in turn, sets out to kill Canyon, an unreliable colleague of Will's. He chose Will's apartment as the place of the crime. Will tries to stop Reed from doing it, but is late.

He decides to pursue Reed, but is on the run from the police himself. With the help of his ex-girlfriend, they find him on the campus. On the roof of a building, Reed takes Claire hostage and threatens to kill her too. There is a violent argument when Reed falls from the roof and dies. After all these experiences, Will finds Claire again and decides to find a publisher for his comic, in which he processes the experiences.

Reviews

"A satirical thriller in a simple television production that uses the lack of originality of an increasingly profane world as the hook of its quite intelligent story, which at the same time wants to be understood as a reference for the connection between nihilism and fascism."

"Passable independent film with weaknesses."
