Denise Knudson-Parker (born December 12, 1973 in Salt Lake City , Utah ) is a former American archer and archery biathlete .
Denise Parker had been a member of the US national archery squad since the late 1980s. She started in 1988 in Seoul for the first time at the Summer Olympics and was 21st in the individual. With Deborah Ochs and Melanie Skillman she won the bronze medal in the team competition behind South Korea and Indonesia. Four years later , Parker missed a medal in Barcelona alongside Jennifer O'Donnell and Sherry Block as eighth in the team competition, but was close to winning another medal as fifth in the individual. She was less successful in 2000 in Sydney , where she was 44th of the individual and fifth with Janet Dykman and Karen Scavotto in the team. At the 1994 Goodwill Games in Saint Petersburg , Parker was eighth of the individual.
Parker was also one of the pioneers in international archery biathlon and started in 1998 at the first ever World Championships in Cogne . There she won the relay bronze medal at the side of Kim Bartholomew and Leslie Howa behind the representations from Italy and France.
