Reviews

Roger Ebert wrote in the Chicago Sun-Times of February 2, 1990 that the film plot tries to be everything for everyone: " Comedy, tragedy, drama, violence, fantasy, reality, cop film, film about ghosts, parable, film about friendship " . It is thanks to the leading actors that the film functions under its " heavy burden "; they would bring credibility to their roles that the script doesn't really secure.

Hal Hinson wrote in the Washington Post on February 3, 1990 that the film was still a " who would have thought " type of film. Its premise is " impossible "; the film remains caught somewhere between the " seriousness " and the " tasteless exploitation ". Only the actors would give "a little pleasure ", the rest was " criminal standard ".

background

The film was shot in Los Angeles , including Hollywood . It grossed approximately $ 4.1 million in US cinemas .
