Roger E. Mosley

Roger Earl Mosley (born December 18, 1938 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor , best known for the role of helicopter pilot Theodore "TC" Calvin in the television series Magnum .

Life

Mosley began his acting career in 1971 with guest roles on various television series. In the mid-1970s he had roles in such films as McQ Strikes with John Wayne , Mr. Universe , one of Arnold Schwarzenegger's first films, and I'm the Greatest with Muhammad Ali . In 1976 he played the title role in Gordon Parks Leadbelly , in which he played the singer Huddie William Ledbetter, called Leadbelly . Further guest appearances in television series followed by the end of the 1970s.

He gained worldwide fame from 1980 through his role as TC in the television series Magnum alongside Tom Selleck and John Hillerman . Until 1988, he played in 161 episodes of the series, resulted in a series directed and wrote the screenplay for another sequence. Since the end of the series, he has mainly played other guest roles. Between 1999 and 2000 he appeared in 22 episodes of the series Rude Awakening - Only for Adults! the role of Milton Johnson .
