Mr. Bombastic (alternative title: Mister Bombastic ; original title: A Thin Line Between Love and Hate ) is an American comedy from 1996. Martin Lawrence directed, wrote the screenplay, was active as a leading actor in the film.

action

Darnell is a ladies' man and employee of the Chocolate City nightclub . His goal is to become a night club owner. For favors from women, he lets the women into the club as VIPs . Although he takes advantage of women, he keeps thinking of his adventures with his childhood sweetheart. When he meets the elegant Brandi, he thinks he's in love. His advances are initially ignored by her, and they both come together. But then Darnell finds out that he still loves Mia, whom he has previously seen again. He gives Brandi a basket, who turns out to be a stalker . Darnell and Mia get engaged in the hope that they will never see Brandi again. But that doesn't help either. In the end, Darnell lies in the hospital and thinks about his situation with women, where Darnell can be seen in a mug shot .
