The loyal Husar is a German film fun game from 1954 by Rudolf Schündler with Paul Hörbiger , Loni Heuser , Doris Kirchner and Harry Meyen in the leading roles.

action

“The loyal hussar” is the name of the men's choir of which the sporting goods retailer Eberhard Wacker is a member. There he is considered quite a henpecked hero. This reputation bothers the good husband quite a bit, and in order to prove the opposite, he arranges to meet his friends at Mardi Gras in the restaurant “Resi”, where they “really want to go crazy”. The women who stayed at home are of course not allowed to know about it, especially since Wacker's wife Ernestine has a lot of hair on her teeth.

The next generation also causes confusion in this story, because Eberhard's son Fred receives a visit from his girlfriend Anita, the daughter of the factory owner Otto Kersten. She is accompanied by her friend Uschi Wagner. The two attractive young women turn each other's heads, and Fred promptly falls in love with the wrong person, the one not intended for him. But now his buddy is tying up with Fred's future. Soon the general confusion gains momentum as the wives of the carnival friends learn of their planned “Resi” visit and come up with countermeasures.
