Singer Nathan Explosion is based on George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher of Cannibal Corpse , but is also somewhat similar to Glenn Danzig and Conan . Guitarist Skwisgaar Skwigelf is based on Yngwie Malmsteen . The drummer Pickles is based on the musical style of Roger Meddows Taylor and the real musician Devin Townsend .
Four seasons of the series have been filmed so far and have been broadcast very successfully in the United States. The series has also been running in Germany for the first time since June 29, 2010.
