geography
course
The Dettelbach rises in the Iphofen-Gerolzhofener Steigerwaldvorland at an altitude of 249 m above sea level. NN an intermittent spring in a field just under two kilometers southwest of the Untereuerheim district belonging to the municipality of Grettstadt , but within the boundary of the village of Weyer, which belongs to Gochsheim . The Gundelsbach, which belongs to the Unkenbach system, rises about 300 m to the southwest .
The Dettelbach first flows about 200 meters in a south-easterly direction through an agricultural zone and then east-north-east about 100 meters along the northern edge of a deciduous forest. He then passed the municipal boundary to Grettstadt and then flows through the fields of corridors adjustable upper and lower Dietbachwiese , accompanied by first only sparse woods.
It now changes to the north-northeast and, now surrounded by thick wood, runs through the fields of Klingeleins Aecker , then crosses under the St 2277 leading from Gochsheim to Untereuerheim and immediately afterwards the E 48 , then continues northward through fields and meadows, lined with thick vegetation and finally flows a good 300 m south of the community of Gädheim on the other side of the Main at an altitude of 210 m above sea level. NN in the corridor Band-Wehr under the Gaens-Leithen at Mainkilometer 342.4 from the left and south into the Main.
