German women's basketball championship 1953
The final round of the German women's basketball championship in 1953 took place from April 18 to 19, 1953 at the same time as the men's championships in Berlin . A total of four teams determined the seventh German women's basketball champion in a knockout system . The tournament was won "unexpectedly" by Neukölln Sportfreunde , who beat TSG 78 Heidelberg in the final with 26:19 . Third place went to TB Heidelberg , fourth place went to OSC Berlin .
