Innovations
With the Opticon process, a patented process has been developed which is used to produce rumen-resistant protein . In comparison with other methods, the amino acids are damaged the least. In addition, a proportion of “protected components” that is too high for the optimal digestion process is reliably prevented and the palatability is increased, especially for dairy cows. This process is also used in piglet feed production. Products from this process are also sold to competitors in the compound feed market worldwide.
In addition, various starter feeds are available for dairy cows, which, with a propylene glycol content of 8%, offer the cows high-energy and tasty feed. This reliably prevents ketosis .
