The German B-Youth Volleyball Championship 2013 was held from May 4th to 5th. For the boys, TSV Mühldorf won the final against VfB Friedrichshafen , for the girls, the Schweriner SC against the Schweriner SC.
The defending champions were VfB Friedrichshafen (male) and Dresdner SC (female).

For the final round, the following clubs qualified according to their placements at the regional championships:
B-youth male
- As the host: VCB Tecklenburger Land
- Regional Association North: Schweriner SC (regional champion), Eimsbütteler TV (runner-up)
- Regional Association Northwest: TV Baden (regional champion), FC Schüttorf 09 (runner-up)
- Regional Association Northeast: Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen (regional champion), SCC Berlin (runner-up)
- Regional Association West: VV Humann Essen (regional champion), Moerser SC (runner-up)
- Regional Association East: LE Volleys (Regional Champion)
- Regional Association Southwest: TuS Kriftel (regional champion), TV Waldgirmes (runner-up)
- Regional Association Southeast: TSV Mühldorf am Inn (regional champion) TuS Fürstenfeldbruck (runner-up)
- Regional Association South: VfB Friedrichshafen (Regional Champion) , TV Rottenburg (Vice Champion)
In the male area, the regional association East only had one starting place for the champions of the regional association (according to DVV country ranking 2013).
B-youth female

- Regional Association North: Schweriner SC (Regional Champion)
- Northwest regional association: SCU Emlichheim (regional champion), SF Aligse (runner-up)
- Regional Association Northeast: SG Rotation Prenzlauer Berg (regional champion), Energie Cottbus (runner-up)
- Regional Association West: VC Essen-Borbeck (regional champion), RC Borken-Hoxfeld (runner-up)
- Regional Association East: Dresdner SC (regional champion), SWE volley team (runner-up)

- Regional association south: VC Stuttgart (regional champion), SVK Beiertheim (runner-up)
