The German volleyball championship of the B-Jugend 2014 will take place from May 17th to 18th in Hamburg (final round male) and Emlichheim (final round female).

The champions and runner-ups of the eight regional associations qualify for the finals at their regional championships. As host clubs, the SCU Emlichheim for the girls and the Eimsbütteler TV for the boys are already firmly qualified for the final round.

TSV Mühldorf (male) and Schweriner SC (female) will enter the race as defending champions, subject to qualification at the respective regional championships.

qualification

The regional championships of the eight regional associations count as qualifications. The best teams from the federal states of the respective regional association qualify for this.

The regional association Northwest has only one starting place for the master of the regional association in the male and female area (according to DVV country ranking 2014). As host clubs, the SCU Emlichheim for the girls and the Eimsbütteler TV for the boys are already firmly qualified for the final round.

Final round

As part of the board meeting of the German Volleyball Youth (dvj), the youth organization of the German Volleyball Association on February 2, 2014 in Gotha , the framework schedule for the German championships in the hall was traditionally set. This draw of the regional associations is valid for all age groups.

Group stage

In the groups everyone plays against everyone for two sets of wins. Afterwards, the second and third placed in the respective groups play against each other in the knockout system for four places in the quarter-finals according to the draw (see below).

In the female area, the runner-up Northwest will be taken by the organizer SCU Emlichheim. With the boys, the organizer Eimsbütteler TV takes the starting place of the runner-up Northwest.

KO round

The second and third placed in the respective groups play in the knockout system in the intermediate round according to the draw on February 2 for four places in the quarter-finals. The losers of the intermediate round play for places 9–12, the losers of the quarter-finals still play for places 5–8. The game for 3rd place will not take place. Both losers in the semi-finals receive a bronze medal.
