The adventures of Natty Gann (original title: The Journey of Natty Gann ) is an American adventure film directed by Jeremy Kagan from the year 1985. The film was at the Oscars 1986 in the category of Costume Design Best nominated.

In 1932, Natty Gann's father left Chicago to find work. The half-orphan Natty stays behind in Chicago, but then goes to look for her father. She travels through half of America by hitchhiking and in railroad cars and meets the young hobo Harry on her journey . On her journey, Natty comes across robbers, vagabonds and the FBI. She receives support from a wolf who stands by her side and saves her life more than once. Natty finally finds her father, who has found work as a woodcutter.
