The Adventures of Hercules Part 2 (OT: Hercules II ) is the sequel to the Italian film Hercules , which was produced in the USA with mostly the same staff and actors . Like its predecessor, this flick also fell through with criticism.
action
The seven lightning bolts of Zeus have so far helped to keep peace on earth. Since some jealous deities stole them to cause chaos, there is not only war and discord on earth; Zeus too is powerless and the moon is on a collision course with the earth. Hercules is sent to earth by Zeus to put an end to it; however, he has to deal more than once with King Minos, whom the competing gods have sent, while he searches for the various lightning bolts guarded by dangerous creatures. Ultimately he fulfills his mission, brings the lightning to Zeus and makes him ruler of the world again.

The German premiere took place on June 23, 1986 via video . On June 18, 1995, the film ran for the first time on German television on SAT 1 .

Remarks
The production of the film cannot be precisely clarified; the staff and actors are largely Italian; However, corresponding databases do not list it as an Italian production under the title Le avventure dell'incredibile Ercole . An American production is obvious because of the producers; the strip contains parts, scraps and scenes from part 1.
