action
David Greene is a passionate basketball fan. Despite running a deli in Brooklyn , his biggest dream is to make a living as a basketball coach. So he sends out applications over and over again, maybe to coach a college team somewhere. Meanwhile, his long-suffering wife Jan wants nothing more than to buy a house and start a family. Just when he's about to give up his dream, he receives an offer of Cadwallader University , giving it 60 dollars paid for each win and offers a lucrative contract, the men's team if any one of the top 10 teams, the basketball players of the Nevada State , can win. Together with his friend Hustler, he builds a somewhat crazy, but still powerful group.
criticism
“Plain and naive comedy about the American belief in success on its own; mostly boring, dramaturgically weak and in the only superficially outlined conflicts silly and predictable. "
