action

Seventeen-year-old Josepha is unable to gain anything from life with her drunkard uncle in the small town, who lives on a better (theatrical) past. Her wish to be accepted into the “gang” scooter club, a group of harmless, noisy adolescents, is not fulfilled because she doesn't own a scooter. There she met Savary, the pharmacist who had just moved in, and she felt attracted and repelled by his advances. She asks him for money. Savary generously lends her the amount necessary to procure a motorcycle. Although Josepha now becomes a member of the "gang", she does not feel happy. A girl belonging to this group is killed and Josepha mentions the perpetrator's name just to impress: Savary. The pharmacist denies it and Josepha admits after talking to the accused's wife that she lied. By chance, however, she finds some evidence in the pharmacist's car that points to his perpetrator. The police no longer believe her; but Savary's wife has pricked up her ears and can prevent a second murder at the last minute.

criticism

"Exciting crime thriller, staged based on the« thugs »films, but endeavoring to deepen the milieu and character drawing and not without human interest."

"A crime film that clearly strives for depth, but despite good performance, it is not entirely convincing either in the drawing of the murderer or in the description of the habitus and milieu of the adolescents."
