The Jungle Heroes is a 2013 French computer-animated television series based on the film The Jungle Heroes - Operation: South Pole . So far, 104 episodes have been produced in three seasons, which were broadcast in Germany from April 4, 2014 to March 23, 2017 on Super RTL .

The Penguin Maurice and his friends on their return from the South Pole , where they once an enslaved penguin colony of a pack of walruses taken have freed the task upon himself in the jungle to maintain law and order. Maurice and his friends save the jungle from evil creatures, solve puzzles, retrieve stolen things and settle all kinds of disputes.
Your sanctuary is a clearing in the jungle close to the volcano . There is a large tree, a large pond and a boulder that Maurice uses as a pillow .
If animals have a problem they come to the volcano and pull on a certain handle. Then the volcano sends out a loud warning signal in the form of two clouds of smoke that form an exclamation point and the jungle heroes go in different ways to their other hiding place, which is in a cave under the sanctuary. So far, no challenge has been too difficult for her.
characters
Maurice is a penguin painted over with tiger stripes who thinks he is a tiger . He calls himself "the great tiger warrior". Maurice was one of echidnas in the art of Kung Fu training and he gives this art to his adopted son, the little fish Junior on. Maurice is very cunning, intelligent, also friendly and he loves to test his powers on other animals. He is the leader of the jungle heroes and they often bail him out.
Junior is a small goldfish , also painted over with tiger stripes, and Maurice's adopted son. Junior cannot speak and therefore communicates with other animals using sign language and pantomime. Maurice always teaches Junior new fighting techniques and Junior can use them perfectly. Since it is a fish, Maurice constantly takes it everywhere in an aquarium .
Flederike is a bat and therefore the only flying member of the jungle heroes . She is always in a very good mood and madly in love with Grummel. She is afraid of the dark and doesn't like to be alone. Flederike is responsible for reconnaissance flights and has an artistic talent.
Grummel is a little goblin monkey and the clever head of the jungle heroes. He is always in a bad mood because he is always extremely overtired and is always kept from sleep . Very rarely does he show a happy mood. He only laughs when someone he doesn't like gets injured or when you tell stories about curses, aliens or ghosts, because none of these things exist. He's extremely intelligent, understands sign language, knows the scientific name of other animals and is a damn good puzzle solver. Grummel is always carried everywhere by Harry and his branch on missions.
Harry is a blue mountain gorilla and therefore the strongest member of the jungle heroes. He loves to beat up other animals and always sings loudly: "Hit it, hit it, hit it!" Harry is extremely naive, lovable, likes to eat bananas for his life and his best friend is the warthog Fränk. He can't stand it when his friends get hurt and sometimes shows aggressive sides at such times.
Al and Bob are two frogs with extremely toxic skin and also members of the jungle heroes. However, they rarely go on missions for the jungle heroes. Neither of them can resist insects and that's why Al often cooks products with insects. Al is extremely slim and quick at catching insects, and Bob is very fat and a more focused hunter . The two are inseparable and neither of them has ever done anything on their own. Every now and then there is an argument between the two, but it is quickly resolved. They are also the talented and skilled hairdressers at Fränk.
Frank is a warthog and also a member of the jungle heroes. But he's rarely seen in the series. Fränk doesn't talk, he just sings all his life. He dreams of a career as a singer . Fränk has a good-looking hairstyle , a lovely voice, a musical talent and he's Harry's best friend.
