action

In the hometown of the Jönsson gang, the small Swedish village Wall-Entuna, the Tivoli Circus moves into a guest appearance. All residents, especially the children, are infected with circus fever and try to get tickets. The members of the Jönsson gang, Charles Ingvar, Ragnar and Harry, do not have enough money for tickets. Charles-Ingvar "Sickan" Jönsson, of course, has a new plan for this too, and they are trying to forge the tickets. The gang's opponents, the spoiled entrepreneur's boy Morgan "Junior" Wall-Enberg with his compliant helper Biffen, take their tickets from them. As a result, Harry cannot invite his Doris to the circus as promised. Morgan "Junior" Wall-Enberg now uses the chance with the removed cards and invites Harry's friend Doris to the circus. The forged tickets are discovered, however, and they are thrown out of the circus again. The Jönsson gang wants to repeat Morgan "Junior" Wall-Enberg's cards and notices that the circus troupe wants to steal the works of art from the manufacturer Wall-Enberg. By organizing a circus talent competition, they want to distract the public in order to steal the works of art. However, they don't expect the Jönsson gang to be hot on their heels. They can't prevent the theft, but they do mess things up with the thieves. At the end they can expose the gang of thieves in the talent competition of the circus and receive a bonus of 1000 crowns from the otherwise stingy manufacturer Oscar Wall-Endberg as a thank you for their performance.

background

The model for the children's series was the "Jönsson gang", known in Sweden, or Jönssonligan in Swedish , which is a criminal trio in a Swedish film series. These films are Swedish remakes or in-house developments based on the model of the legendary Danish Olsen Gang . As a new idea, the Jönssonligan was filmed in Sweden from the mid-1990s onwards with children who have characters similar to the Swedish "adult" figures. In contrast to the actual Jönssonligan films (which are not yet available in German), the first two junior films have also been dubbed in German. Later this example was followed in Denmark and Norway and each also created their own “youth versions” of the Olsen Gang. After the remake of the first Danish Olsen Gang Junior , one carried out in Norway, even more independent Norwegian youth sequels (2003-2010) without corresponding templates.
