The Cat From Outer Space (Original title: The Cat from Outer Space ) is one of Walt Disney produced science fiction film from 1978 with Ken Berry in the lead role. The comedy tells the story of an encounter between an alien in the shape of a cat and the people on our planet.

action

Jake, an alien tomcat who is actually called "Zunar J5 / 9 Doric 4-7", is forced to make an emergency landing with his spaceship on Earth in a field near Palmdale . The spaceship is immediately discovered, confiscated and examined by the US Army . Jake overhears the investigation and recognizes the physicist Dr. Frank Wilson the one man whose mind is open enough to help him. With his telepathic powers , which his collar gives him, Jake manages to ask Frank for help. To get his spaceship ready for a rendezvous with his mother ship , Jake and Frank break into the base and examine the ship. Jake's collar, which can also be used by Frank, amplifies the brain waves and also enables objects to be moved or flying, proves to be very helpful. The damage analysis reveals that a compacted gold component valued at $ 120,000 is required. In addition, the evil genius Mr. Olympus appears, who Jake wants to capture in order to be able to use his psychic abilities.
