Diedrich Wilhelm Andreas Augspurg

Diedrich Wilhelm Andreas Augspurg (born December 2, 1818 in Bremervörde , † June 29, 1898 in Bremen ) was a German politician of the National Liberal Party and a member of the Reichstag .

Live and act

Augspurg attended the Rector School in Bremervörde and then enjoyed private lessons. In 1836 he joined the Bremen trading office. From there he went to Mexico as a merchant in 1841 . In 1845 Augspurg became a partner and from 1849 to 1864 head of the Anglo-German office building in Guadalajara , Mexico. In the same place he was part-time French Vice Consul from 1855 to 1864. In 1864 he returned to Bremen. In 1870 Augspurg was a member of the Imperial Deputation in Versailles .

In April 1869 he was elected to the Reichstag of the North German Confederation and from 1871 to 1874 to the Reichstag of the German Empire . The constituency of the Province of Hanover 18 (Stade-Bremervörde) elected him there . He was a member of the National Liberal Party .
