Diego Oliveira Alves (born May 11, 1987 in Itabira ), also known as Diego , is a Brazilian football player .

Career

Diego signed his first contract in 2005 with the Brazilian Club América Mineiro in Belo Horizonte . In 2006 he was to Patos de Minas to União Recreativa dos Trabalhadores borrowed. From 2008 to 2011 he played with Ceilândia EC in Ceilândia . In 2012 he moved to Africa . Here he signed a contract with Armée Patriotique Rwandaise FC in Rwanda . The Kigali club played in the First Division, the National Football League . After the end of the season he was with the club Rwandan football champions. In mid-2012 he went to Thailand . Here he signed a contract with third division club Phitsanulok FC in Phitsanulok . In mid-2013 he moved to Chiangmai for Chiangmai FC . The club also played in the third division. With the club he became champion of the Regional League Division 2 - North and thus rose to the second division, the Thai Premier League Division 1 . The third division Sukhothai FC signed him for the 2014 return series . The Sukhothai club won the Northern Region championship at the end of the 2014 season. In 2015 he moved to the back series for third division club Phrae United FC in Phrae . Here he was on the field for the club until June 2017. From June to the end of the season he went to Bangkok where he played the back series for Army United in the Thai League 2 . He went to league rivals Kasetsart FC , a club that is also based in Bangkok, in January 2018. After the series he went to the Philippines in mid-2018 , where he played for Davao Aguilas FC in the first division, the Philippines Football League, until mid-2019 , played. He returned to Thailand in mid-2019. Here he joined the second division Air Force United from Bangkok.
