Dieter Kramer (born April 12, 1959 ) is a former German professional footballer. The offensive player has played seven Bundesliga games for the clubs Hamburger SV and VfL Bochum and was German champions in 1981/82 with HSV under coach Ernst Happel .

career

Kramer played in the amateur team of Fortuna Dusseldorf and took 4th place with his teammates in 1979/80 in the Association League Niederrhein . When Fortuna amateur coach Günter Exner became the coach of the second division Prussia Münster for the 1980/81 season , he brought the three former Fortune amateurs Dieter Kramer, Guido Mazany and Bernd Vittinghoff with him to Münster. Kramer made his debut on the first round matchday, August 6, 1980, in a 1: 3 away defeat at Viktoria Köln, in the 2nd Bundesliga . After the end of the preliminary round, the league round was held in a 22-man relay and was the decisive qualification for the single-track 2nd league from the 1981/82 season, the Prussians took 12th place with 20:22 points and still had the former Ajax player Horst Blankenburg signed up and Exner replaced by Rudi Faßnacht . Kramer played 30 league games and scored four goals and Preußen Münster came in 13th. That was not enough for inclusion in the one-tier 2nd division. The last second division game played Kramer on May 16, 1981 in a 3-2 home win against OSV Hannover when he brought his team 1-0 in the 16th minute. He played alongside other players like Horst Blankenburg, Dieter Agatha , Karl-Heinz Krekeler , Thomas Lander , Konrad Eickels Bernd Vittinghoff.

Kramer was signed for the 1981/82 season, as were Lars Bastrup , Borisa Djordjevic , Ralf Brunnecker , Bernhard Scharold and Michael Schröder from Hamburger SV. The only regular player among the newcomers was attacker Bastrup, who scored 13 goals in 34 league appearances. Hamburger SV became German champions in 1982 under coach Ernst Happel and reached the final of the UEFA Cup . Kramer came on for a mission: He came on March 6, 1982 in a 2-2 home draw against VfL Bochum in the 88th minute for Jürgen Milewski . The championship bonus of DM 30,000 was also paid out to the two players Kramer and Michael Schröder with one stake each. After a year as a permanent reserve, Kramer switched to VfL Bochum.

At VfL he was substituted on on the first round matchday, August 21, 1982, in a 0-2 away defeat at Fortuna Düsseldorf by coach Rolf Schafstall for Ulrich Bittorf in the 46th minute. This was followed by five more appearances against Arminia Bielefeld (1: 1), Eintracht Braunschweig (2: 0), FC Bayern Munich (0: 3), Hamburger SV (1: 1) and Borussia Mönchengladbach (1: 3). With the use on March 26, 1983 against the Elf vom Bökelberg, Dieter Kramer's Bundesliga career came to an end; he was declared a sports disabled person in 1984.
