Dieter Strützel
Dieter Strützel (born May 25, 1935 in Dessau ; † May 9, 1999 ) was a cultural scientist in the GDR .
Life dates
- 1954 to 1959 studied German and English / American studies at the Karl Marx University (KMU) Leipzig
- 1963 to 1966 traineeship at the Philosophical Institute of SMEs
- 1967 PhD on the typical
- 1966 to 1970 editor or head editor at Mitteldeutscher Verlag Halle , dismissed due to publications by Christa Wolf and Erik Neutsch, among others
- 1970 to 1975 senior assistant for cultural theory / aesthetics at the SME
- 1976 appointment to lecturer for cultural theory at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena
- 1981 party proceedings for talks with members of the Jena scene
- 1984 to 1989 mediator of an informal group on the aesthetics of resistance by Peter Weiss
- 1988 to 1989 deputy head of the interdisciplinary project Lifestyle in the GDR at the universities of Jena and Tübingen
- November 1989 his scientific work ends after the social upheaval in autumn 1989 at the FSU Jena
- from December 1989 participation in the development of the SED-PDS, later PDS
