Dindi is a village in the Badaguichiri rural community in Niger .

The village, led by a traditional chief ( chef traditionnel ), is located around 28 kilometers southeast of Badaguichiri, the capital of the rural community of the same name, which belongs to the Illéla department in the Tahoua region. It is located on the southern edge of the Ader Doutchi mountain range . Larger villages in the area are Kaoura Abdou in the northeast, Toubout in the south and Yama in the southwest.

At the 2012 census, Dindi had 5926 inhabitants who lived in 917 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 3,693 in 578 households, and at the 1988 census, the population was 2,415 in 416 households.

The population majority-owned by ethnic group of Hausa in, added nomadic living Fulani and Tuareg .

A weekly market takes place in Dindi, but the villagers frequent the market in the municipal capital Badaguichiri more. The infrastructure in Dindi includes a health center, elementary schools and granaries. The main crops grown in the village are onions, tomatoes and pigeon peas . In Dindi there is also a cooperative for growing rice.
