Kaoura Abdou (also: Kaora Abdou , Kaouara Abdou ) is a village in the Badaguichiri rural community in Niger .

The village, led by a traditional chief ( chef traditionnel ), is located around 31 kilometers east of Badaguichiri, the capital of the rural community of the same name, which belongs to the Illéla department in the Tahoua region. It is located in a valley in the south of the Ader Doutchi mountain range . The difference in altitude between the valley floor and the surrounding plateau is up to 70 meters. Larger villages in the Kaoura Abdou area are Garhanga in the northeast, Allakaye in the southeast and Dindi in the southwest.

The valley of Kaoura Abdou was an early center of the Tijānīya of Ibrahim Baye Niass in the 1920s , which shaped the Islamization in the south of the Tahoua region. Here worked marabouts from Kano that their training in Kaolack had been completed.

At the 2012 census, Kaoura Abdou had 5,672 inhabitants who lived in 877 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 3,821 in 598 households, and at the 1988 census, the population was 3,296 in 594 households.

In Kaoura Abdou there is a weekly market and a slaughterhouse.
