Dobra is a place in the north of the Saxon district of Meißen . He belongs to the municipality of Thiendorf .

Geography and traffic

Dobra is located in the middle of fields near the Königsbrücker Heide . The place is located 30 kilometers north of Dresden . The neighboring towns are Zschorna in the west , Lötzschen in the north and at Sacka in the east at Tauscha and Tauscha-Cultivation and in the south at Kleinnaundorf and Würschnitz . The highest point is the 180 meter high Hutberg west of Dobra.

history

Dobra was first mentioned in a document in 1350. The spelling of the place changed from Arnoldus de Dobera (1292) to Dobera (1298), Dobern, Dobere, Dobera, dy Dobre, zcur Dobir (1424), zcu Dober, Dubro, Dobra (1501) and finally in 1875 in Dobra b. Radeburg . The historical location of Dobras is a street prairie village with a crab mill and Zschorna manor. Dobra was historically under the jurisdiction of the Zschorna manor after 1551, 1696 and 1764. The manor owner had the right to fill the clerical office through the parish and school. In the church register of 1575, Heinrich von Petzschwitz on Rödern and Zschorna is named as feudal lord and Andreas Steinauer from Munich as pastor . Until March 1, 1994 Dobra was an independent municipality in the district of Großenhain with Zschorna as a district. In 1994 it was incorporated into the municipality of Tauscha, which in turn was incorporated into Thiendorf on January 1, 2016 .
