history

Until the beginning of the 19th century, only the Lüttichauer mill stood in the ground below the dam of the mill pond. The miles sheet shows another pond in the toad spot with the toad pond, of which the dam is still visible today. A peat dig was carried out in the Horstbruch south of the herb mountain.

The annex was built next to the Liège mill in the first half of the 19th century. The group of houses is mapped for the first time in the Oberreit'schen Atlas. In the following years the mill was named "Cultivation Trouble" Liège / Cultivation, like Liège, was subordinate to the Röhrsdorf manor and parish to Ponickau .

With the reorganization of the Saxon administrative structures, Lüttichau / Annex as a district of Lüttichau was assigned to the Königsbrück court office in 1856 and to the Kamenz district administration in 1875 . In 1938, as part of the expansion of the Königsbrück military training area, the surrounding heath villages were dissolved and cleared. After the end of the Second World War, the military training area was seized by the Soviet occupying forces . In 1950 the municipality of Lüttichau was assigned to the district of Großenhain. In 1960 Lüttichau / Cultivation and Lüttichau were incorporated into Ponickau. Lüttichau / Cultivation has been part of the Thiendorf municipality since 1996. From 1994 Lüttichau / Annex belonged to the district of Riesa-Großenhain, since 2008 the village has been part of the district of Meißen.

In the course of the conversion of the former Soviet military training area into the nature reserve "Königsbrücker Heide" Lüttichau / Cultivation was included in the program village funding. This enabled some courtyards to be renovated. Liège / Cultivation has retained its original village character to this day; In the future, too, only minor gaps are planned.
