Tauscha is a district of the municipality of Thiendorf in the far east of the district of Meißen in the Free State of Saxony . The previously independent community was incorporated into Thiendorf on January 1, 2016, whereby the Thiendorf administrative community , to which both communities belonged, was dissolved.

Geography and traffic

Brettmühlenteich

Tauscha is located in the middle of the Laußnitzer Heide . The neighboring cities are Radeburg (9 km) and Königsbrück (8 km). The state capital Dresden is located approx. (24 km) south of the district. The B 98 runs north and the B 97 runs east of Tauscha. The A 13 runs through the west of the local area . This can be reached via the connection Thiendorf (approx. 7 km). In the district of Zschorna there is the approximately 2 hectare large lake Großteich and the Brettmühlenteich with an adjoining campsite.

The Tauscha district includes the Tauscha-Cultivation, Dobra , Kleinnaundorf, Würschnitz and Zschorna districts .

On January 1, 2016, Tauscha was incorporated into the Thiendorf community.

  • Würschnitz Electoral Association (WVW): 2 seats

  • Voters' Association for Tauscha (WVT): 1 seat

Hans-Ullrich Scheibe was the last mayor of the municipality until it was dissolved.
