action
The American Jimmy Cobb loots a million dollars in a robbery in France on a money transporter; as the film progresses, a policeman speaks of 10 million francs. Seven people died in the attack. Cobb flees to the country; the police and members of a criminal organization are pursuing him. He buries the money in the grain field of a farm. The approximately 14-year-old son of the family, who owns the farm, observes this, digs up the money and hides it in another place. Cobb is hiding on the farm, but is soon discovered; however, the family who run the farm do not hand it over to the police. Rather, they strive to find the stolen money - as a result, numerous family members die.
