Dominic Egizzi

Dominic Egizzi (* 1972 in Solingen ) is a German journalist , author , director and film producer of documentaries and reports .

Life

During his master's degree ( English and Political Science in Cologne and Hamburg ) from 1992 to 2001, Dominic Egizzi worked as an author and director for various production companies and television stations. As the responsible editor and director, he also produced audio books .

From 2002 to 2014 Dominic Egizzi was employed at the award-winning ECO Media TV production as a senior producer and author. During this time he has produced over 100 documentaries and reports as an author and director or developed and supervised them as a senior producer. The spectrum of topics ranged from politics, economics, science to culture, sports and history. He worked for ZDFzoom , ZDFzeit , Terra Xpress , Abenteuer Wissen , 37 Grad , ZDFneo , ZDFinfo , NDR-Nordstory, NDR-Nordreportage, NDR-Typisch as well as ARD / NDR , Arte-Discovery, Arte-Wissenschaft, Arte Thema, 3sat - “Science on Thursday”, RBB reports, “Loop” and “Zipp” (RTL third-party provider).

In 2015 Dominic Egizzi ended his permanent position at ECO Media TV. Since then he has worked as a freelance writer, producer and producer.

Awards

The film " Deadly Deals - German Weapons for the World " (ZDF, authors: Dominic Egizzi, Carsten Binsack) was nominated in 2014 for the Ernst Schneider Prize for best business journalism in the "Big business broadcast" category.
