Dominique Kimpinde Amando (born August 14, 1933 in Kampinda ; † January 22, 2017 ) was former bishop of Kalemie-Kirungu .

Life

Dominique Kimpinde Amando was ordained a priest on June 29, 1962 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Baudouinville diocese . John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Kilwa - Kasenga on March 28, 1980 .

The Pope personally donated his episcopal ordination on May 4th of the same year; Co - consecrators were Agnelo Cardinal Rossi , Cardinal Dean and Cardinal Prefect of the Administration of Goods of the Apostolic See , and Cardinal Joseph-Albert Malula , Archbishop of Kinshasa .

On March 31, 1989, he was appointed bishop of Kalemie - Kirungu . On September 15, 2010, Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
