Dominique Rub

Dominique Rub Kohler , born Dominique Moustopoulos (born November 30, 1952 ; † August 15, 2013 ) was a Greek - Swiss journalist , news anchor and publisher .

Life

Dominique Rub was born as Dominique Moustopoulos. Her father was Greek and worked as an engineer for Brown-Boveri , her mother was from Malta . After graduating from the district and cantonal school in Baden , Rub studied history , political science and English in Zurich .

From 1985 to 1993 Dominique Rub worked as a spokeswoman for the daily news of Swiss television , later as press spokeswoman for the Federal Department of Home Affairs (FDHA) under Federal Councilor Ruth Dreifuss . In 2000 she founded the non-fiction book publisher rüffer & rub together with Anne Rüffer . In 2003 she made the documentary Writing against Death together with Rolf Lyssy .

Dominique Rub was married to Bruno Rub in her first marriage, to the filmmaker Rolf Lyssy in her second marriage and to the philosopher and publicist Georg Kohler in her third marriage .
