Dorothea Lösche (born May 31, 1906 in Hagen / Westphalia as Dorothea Ludwig ; † November 22, 1985 in Berlin ) was a German politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). She was the daughter of the SPD politician Konrad Ludwig (1880-1935).

After attending a commercial school from 1920 and an internship at a social democratic newspaper in Hagen, Lösche worked for the SPD parliamentary group in the Prussian state parliament until 1932 .

From 1921 Lösche was part of the USPD- affiliated Socialist Proletarian Youth (SPJ), after the merger of the USPD and SPD in 1922 he continued to be active in the Socialist Workers' Youth (SAJ). During the Weimar Republic , she held several functions in the SPD, of which she became a member since 1923 after becoming a member of the USPD. From 1934–35 she worked for the newspaper Blick in die Zeit , then until 1939 she was a stenographer .

After the Second World War , Lösche was a member of the Neukölln District Executive, 1958–1963 of the Berlin House of Representatives , and from 1963 to 1969 a member of the German Bundestag .

Dora Lösche was married to the SPD politician Bruno Lösche (1898–1963), who was the district councilor for public education in the Tiergarten district . Her son Peter Lösche (1939–2016) was a well-known German political scientist. She lived with her husband and son for some time in the Hufeisensiedlung in Berlin-Britz .
